Diesel Heavy Duty Mechanic - $22-$26/Hr.

What You Will Do:

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all trucks, trailers and other mobile equipment
  • Work closely with the equipment department and local vendors to facilitate repairs
  • Travel to various worksites throughout the Western U.S. during the regular season months of March through October and provide operational maintenance support for all working equipment
  • Take ownership over your work, equipment, conditions, and surroundings to keep safety first in all things both for yourself and for all crew members
  • Think innovatively, actively participate in safety tailgate meetings, contribute purposefully to the Company’s safety culture, and communicate clearly, openly, and constructively
Required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior education, certification, or experience in Diesel Mechanics or related field
  • A current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to and from the local office
  • Commitment to adhering to standards of the Company Code of Conduct 
Preferred
  • Class A CDL with Tank & Double/Triple endorsements
  • 21 years of age
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in construction and/or road maintenance
