All Chemical Transport & Leasing is hiring a Driver to report to the Lead Dispatcher who is primarily responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals, by safely operating a diesel, multi-geared truck in the Lakewood, NJ, Old Bridge, NJ and Fairless Hills, PA area!

Essential Duties and Responsibilites:

  • ​​Maintains truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections.
  • Safely operate vehicles.
  • Responsible for accurate up-to-date delivery location maps, and operates in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with Homeland Security requirements and guidelines.
  • Loads trucks and schedules daily runs to meet client delivery requirements.
  • Recognizes and avoids safety hazards in the work environment.
  • Maintains regular communication with supervisor to report field problems or safety hazards. 
  • Performs all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
  • Maintain professional licenses/credentials including a current and valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements, a TWIC card, and up to date DOT Physical.
  • Represents All Chemical Transport in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
  • Physical work requirements: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 

Qualifications:

  1. Education and/or Experience
    • High School diploma required
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
    • At least one (1) year in commercial driving experience, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations
    • Acceptable motor vehicle record for at least three (3) years
    • Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
    • Clean DMV & drug screen required
    • Experience with operation forklifts, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers, and gauges preferred
